From: The Work
CONNECTIVE TISSUE

Fascia and the
gravity field

“Practitioners use handwork and client movement to give space and length in the connective tissues (fascia) of the whole body.”

THE BASIC TEN SERIES

The Ten “hours”

“For most people, the process begins with a “Basic Ten Series”.”

“It is important to remember that because no two people are alike, no Basic Ten Series is alike.”
From: The Work
TIME IN THE STUDIO

Why 90 minutes

“The 90 minute time interval allows for a short conversation, or a hard time in traffic, or a discussion about an office chair or a pair of shoes, and there will still be time to complete a good session.”
From: Advanced Sessions
PARTICIPATION

A cooperative
practice

“SI is a cooperative practice and client participation is essential for the work to reach its fullest potential.”
From: The Work
FROM INFANTS TO ELDERS

who came in.

Personal accounts published by the practice. Each person’s experience is their own.

“I came to the process of Structural Integration because I wanted to be physcially and mentally ready to be the best parent I could”
D. Hounsel · Rabun, GA
“As a result, it has become an integral part of my ongoing approach to heath and wellness.”

“In 2003, I had a car accident that led me try a 10 series with Ashby. When finished, I was in better shape than I had been prior to the accident. I have had a few shorter series and some four-handed work over the years and continue to visit every few months for a “touch up” session; I can’t imagine what my body or my mind would feel like without this work. I do know that every time I leave their space, I walk taller, straighter, and more equipped to manage the world.”
